MECHANICS: The Champion Brands promotion, during 14 days, hyped the Extra Hypermarkets. Apart from enjoying the discounts, the clients could get to know the sale-ticket and 14 automobiles 0km. Each 40.00 Reais in sales, the clients could exchange the receipts for coupons and participate in daily rifts of 150 Reais (multicash) to be spent within the store.

To each R$40.00 in sales, they could get coupons and run for daily prizes of R$150.00 (multicash) to be spent within the store. After the end of the campaign, all the urns were sealed and sent to Extra Morumbi, in São Paulo, where the great final drawing of 14 automobiles Fiat Palio 0km and 60 prizes of R$2,400.00 (multicash) in products of the store was carried out.

RESULT: 9 million coupons were collected in the period of 14 days of the biggest promotion of the national retail. The clients of Extra Hypermarkets were the greatest winners of the promotion Champion Brands, which lasted from May 29th to June 11th and involved the 60 stores of the brand.

PRIZES: CC&M won the ‘Prêmio Destaque’ (Highlight Award, in a rough translation) on Marketing, promoted by ABM&N (Brazilian Association of Marketing and Business), in the category of Promotional Marketing with the Champion Brands Promotion. With the same case the agency also won the Caio Prize, carried by Eventos Magazine, ABEOC, FBC&VB, ABRACCEF and UBRAFE, in the category of PromotionL Campaign.
