20th Pão de Açúcar Kids Race

The 20th Pão de Açúcar Kids Race, in partnership with Nescau, happened on October 29th (ending the Kid’s Day month), at the Constâncio Vaz Guimarães Sportive Conjunct, in São Paulo, under the organization of CC&M Comunicação e Marketing, who was responsible for the production and operation of such event since its first edition, in 2004.

The race counted with the participation of 4,000 kids among those born from 2004 to 2012, apart from the Fraldinha category, for those born in 2015, 2014 and 2013; participants of the Fraldinha category had their parents/responsible running by their side. Courses were divided in 50m, 100m, 200m, and 400m in accordance with the runners age.

The event also counted with various playful activities, arts studios, and sportive initiation activities, in an exclusive space at the event’s arena made for the Jogadeira da Nestlé project.

Nescau made the distribution of chocolate flavored milks to the young athletes in exclusive tents, also located at the event’s arena.

All the participants were awarded with medals, apart from receiving a post-race kit, snacks, fruits, and mashed fruits from PIC-ME. There was also a category exclusive for kids suffering with physical disabilities, that had their parents helping them to cross the finishing line. All the children were properly identified with chest number (with the participant’s name) and foot chip (disposable) to keep track of their racing time. The event’s kit was composed of a thermal food keeper (new in this edition), a T-shirt, and gifts from the sponsors and partners.
