24th Pão de Açúcar Relay Marathon of São Paulo

. In its 24th edition, this year in partnership with Nescau, and forming the known Running Circuit, Pão de Açúcar Relay Marathon of São Paulo counted with 18 thousand athletes, running across Ibirapuera Park and its surroundings. Under the organization and production of CC&M Comunicação e Marketing, the event happened this Sunday, September 18th, and counted with teams of 2, 4 and 8 members, sorted in male, female and mixed categories.

More than 2,500 water cups were distributed, in under than 5 hours; 20,000 isotonics and 20,000 chocolate flavored milks.

Qualitá offered to the premium clients (Clientes Mais), a tent with various foods and drinks (from its brand), and other activities, such as massage. Itaú was present once more, and performed specific actions in the Athletes Square, along with its collaborators. For this, its tents counted with lockers, stretching, massage and snacks.

Planning: For the execution of this vast sportive event, months of planning, along with a 1,500 people staff directly and indirectly involved on the production of the event, were necessary. The event is so grandiose that it involved other numbers as: more than 50 thousand people affected (almost 50% of the participants brought guests with them), 250 days of security staff service, 300 people working on cleaning, 11 points of water distribution, 1.5 thousand tons of metallic structure, 2 thousand m2 of carpet, 4.5 thousand meters of lycra to  cover the structures, 1 bike storage, 1 walkway and 1 corporative and award stage, 45 trucks, 12 organization motorcycles, 10 thousand meters of grids for marking the route of approximately 10.5km, 100 tents distributed on the event’s course and Athlete’s Square, 24 ICU ambulances, 4 motorcycles with paramedics and 2 ambulatories with 8 doctors and 13 nursing technicians.
