With its start-off at Marginal Pinheiros, close to Av. Juscelino Kubitschek, São Paulo held on June 14th the Mizuno Half Marathon with a 100% flat course. Various news were programmed, among which the creation of new categories: duo – masculine, feminine and mixed – and wheelchair users.

For the duos, each athlete ran half course (10.549km), and the result was the sum of each component of the duo’s time. The awards were the following: individual (21.098km), masculine and feminine – 1st place – R$ 3,000.00 per athlete; 2nd place – R$ 2,000.00 per athlete; 3rd place – R$1,000.00 per athlete. Duos awards (masculine, feminine and mixed) – 1st place – R$3,000.00 per duo; 2nd place – R$2,000.00 per duo; 3rd place – R$1,000.00 per duo.

The days that precede the event were agitated; the ‘Expo Mizuno Half Marathon’ happened from June 11th to 13th and counted with the race’s kits withdrawn and various lectures of athletes and other professionals. It was assembled on WTorre building ( Av. das Nações Unidas, 7815). The local also counted with a Mizuno store (with products of the brand sold with a discount), stepping test (examining the athletes step), massage, shoes donation, shoes “test drive”, cryotherapy and FORM (examining the athlete’s posture during racing movement).

CC&M Comunicação e Marketing was responsible for the organization of the entire event, acting since the event’s entries, technical directory until the operation of the event itself.
